It's not indoctrination

It's education: "First it was his world history class. Then he saw it in his economics class. And his world issues class. And his environment class. In total, 18-year-old McKenzie, a Northern Ontario high schooler, says he has had the film An Inconvenient Truth shown to him by four different teachers this year."

...Why is there even an environment class and world issues class in the first place? Our high schools should be focusing on basic curricula like math and english, not getting lectures on the environment by a man who dropped out of divinity school and flunked out of law school. And people wonder why our schools are in such sorry shape. Second, Gore's secular apocalyptic flick clearly can't be very effective propaganda if it needs so many showings in order to take.

Al Gore is the only one who can stop global warning. Come on, people! He invented the internet.

maybe the environment is an essential part of our being (well, some people think otherwise ;) ) not only for our biological survival but also our economic survival.

i see nothing wrong with teaching world issues. it opens the mind and makes you less ignorant. there's nothing more irritating then an arrogant AND ignorant high schooler.

maybe you should wonder why so many teachers are showing the movie?
